ARTS SOCIETY Didsbury's Not For Profit Society of 2015!

The Mountain View Arts Society is a group of volunteers in Didsbury and the surrounding region who support the arts, whether by hosting events or facilitating in the promotion of artists, musicans, writers, and dancers in Mountain View County.
Contact any member of the Board of Directors if you would like to volunteer with the Society, or participate in one of our events.
We invite you to buy a membership in the Society and help us promote arts, culture and heritage in Didsbury, Olds, Sundre, Carstairs, and Cremona Alberta, and their surrounding communities.
Coming Events include the Art Show & Sale held during the Didsbury Trade Show in April and the Mountain View Arts Festival in September. Tell us your event and we'll help promote it too.

Train Club Meeting

Description: The train display is growing! Stop by the museum to see the club in action, check out the newest changes and additions, and talk to our members and if you would like run a train (one of ours or your own). The Club meets every second Saturday till June 20th.

Banff Mtn Film Fest
Host: Olds Kiwanis Performing Arts Society
Description: The Banff Mountain Film Festival is a group of films that explore remote landscapes and mountain cultures and outdoor sports. A series of 10 short films will be presented. For tickets - visit Tickets $25 each.

Make a Comforter
Host: Bergthal Mennonite Church
Description: The Great Winter Warm-up - Join us for a day of COMFORTER MAKING for MCC's international relief efforts when disaster or conflict displaced people from their homes and community. FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY - Whether you're a seasoned sewist or new to the world of comforter making, there will be an opportunity for people of all ages and skill levels to get involved.
