Quilting Group
Host: Town of Didsbury Events and Programming
Description: Not Your Grandmother's Quilting Group - Join other fun-loving quilting enthusiasts for a day of cutting, quilting, and laughs in a casual environment. Wonderland Market
Host: Olds Regional Exhibition
Description: In addition to the traditional Farmer's Market held throughout the summer, ORE hosts the Country Wonderland Christmas Farmer's Market in conjunction with the Olds Fashioned Christmas activities. At least 2,300 spectators visit the market each year to acquire quality baking, crafts and collectibles perfect for holiday gift giving!

Description: In conjunction with the town's Olds Fashioned Christmas activities, ORE hosts the Santa Claus Parade of Lights. OFC Light Up Event
Host: Olds Fashioned Christmas
Description: Outdoor Events at Centennial Park from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. View the Kiwanis Historical Village and Christmas Lights. Visit the “Live” Nativity Scene, enjoy some games, activities, straw bale maze, train rides and wagon rides around Centennial Park. Free hot dogs (served near the cook shack in Centennial Park from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm). And Hot Chocolate and Coffee served from the McDonalds Mc Cafe. Santa Claus parade starts at 5:00 pm. The Line-up begins at 4:30 pm (next to Calouri Pavilion) If you want to be in the Parade, register with the Olds Regional Exhibition (403) 556-3770 ext 8010 or email:bookings(at)oldsregionalexhibition.com Indoor Events 5:15 pm - 8:00 pm in the Big Rack Cow Palace Events Centre. Book Sale
Host: Friends of the Didsbury Library Society
Description: 000s of books at your fingertips! Come to the Friends of the Didsbury Library Office and stock up on your summer reading material! You'll find as many as 15,000 books on the floor, so you should be able to find exactly what you're looking for! Great bargains on books, magazines, CDs, audio books - all sorted into categories like History, Cooking, Landscaping, Drama - you name it, they'll probably have it for you! Payment is by donation, so whatever you are comfortable giving, the Friends are happy to receive. All proceeds go to the Didsbury Municipal Library. Free parking.
