ARTS SOCIETY Didsbury's Not For Profit Society of 2015!

The Mountain View Arts Society is a group of volunteers in Didsbury and the surrounding region who support the arts, whether by hosting events or facilitating in the promotion of artists, musicans, writers, and dancers in Mountain View County.
Contact any member of the Board of Directors if you would like to volunteer with the Society, or participate in one of our events.
We invite you to buy a membership in the Society and help us promote arts, culture and heritage in Didsbury, Olds, Sundre, Carstairs, and Cremona Alberta, and their surrounding communities.
Coming Events include the Art Show & Sale held during the Didsbury Trade Show in April and the Mountain View Arts Festival in September. Tell us your event and we'll help promote it too.

Remembrance Lunch
Host: Didsbury Elks Lodge
Description: Annual Remembrance Day Lunch following the Remembrance Day Service. Donations appreciated. Gluten free options are available upon request. Please call the Elks to make arrangements.

Remembrance Service
Host: Didsbury Army Cadets
Description: Services take place at Zion Church in Didsbury. Doors open at 10 am and everyone is asked to be seated by 10:15. The Colour Party will enter at 10:30 a.m. and the service follows the singing of "O Canada". The service includes hymns and war songs performed by the Didsbury Valley Voices, scripture readings, the reading of the Honour Roll, and the laying of wreaths by many organizations in the community. Poppies will be available at the church. The Zion Church is located at the corner of Highway 582 and 20th Avenue, just east of the Didsbury hospital and the Rosebud Valley Campground.

Remembrance Day

Description: Community Learning Campus (Olds High School Gym). Followed by a wreath laying service at the Cenotaph in Centennial Park.
Location: Community Learning Campus - Doors open at 9:30 am. Service begins at 10:30 am.
