Description: Engaging children's curiosity with stories, songs, and literacy activities. Children ages 3-5 with an adult. Held every Friday morning from 10 - 11 am until December 20th.

Artists Reception
Host: Carstairs Artists Guild
Description: Please join the Carstairs Artists Guild for the opening reception of the their group exhibition at the Museum. Enjoy some light refreshments, meet the artists, and check out the work of these talented locals. Event is free and open to the public!

Puppet Theatre
Host: Didsbury Municipal Library
Description: This one's for the kids! There's no school on Friday, November 8th, so bring your kids to the Didsbury Library for this free, one hour program. Kids from 5 - 8 years of age are welcome to come in and watch the first part of the charming folk tale, "Why the Rabbit's Nose Wiggles". After that, they'll create their own paper sculpture puppet, and then finish the story together with everyone's puppets. Spots are only guaranteed to the first 30 who call the Library to sign up. WP's puppetry-infused learning opportunities and performances inspire, challenge, empower, support expression and encourage empathy in our audiences and participants.
