Knit and Natter
Host: Didsbury Municipal Library
Description: Join a group of friendly crafters for an evening of crafting and conversation. There's more than one way to spin a yarn! Every Wednesday, 6 pm at the Didsbury Library. Bring your own tools and supplies. This is a casual get together for anyone who likes working with yarn and fiber. Drop in anytime in the evening, and leave whenever you like. This is your chance to meet other people who enjoy your hobby and exchange notes and stories. Beginners welcome, we look forward to seeing you!

Vimy Award Winner
Host: Didsbury Historical Society
Description: The museum is honoured to present Noah Korver a recipient of the Beaverbrook Vimy Award. 16 students were selected to participate in an immersive educational program in Belgium and France. From August 7-20, 2019, they learned about our history during the First and Second World War.

Marty Chan Author
Host: Didsbury Municipal Library
Description: Author Marty Chan gives audiences a peek behind the curtain and reveals the secret origins of his successful kids' books. He'll talk about his funny book for reluctant teens, Kung Fu Master, and answer the question: "Marty, are you related to Jackie Chan?" He'll also talk about his steampunk fantasy trilogy, the Ehrich Weisz Chronicles, which may or may not involve a straitjacket escape.
